Unlike other websites both the registration AND all the dating services are totally FREE, for women and men... Forget your credit card !
The free dating service are: the creation or modification of your profile, all messages sent and received, your searches, your photos (26), your videos (26), the daily simple matching, managing your inbox, the message alerts, the motivation index...
Options are also available. They complete already existing free services : the Ultra precise Matching, the Bonus, navigating on the site without advertisement
Simply fill in the registration form. It's free and takes effect immediately ! Your profile is instantly online and you can start communicating with other members. Only your public profile is visible to all the other members (your description, 1 photo and 1 video), members need your autorisation to see the rest.
Your profile is organised in 3 different spaces : > Public Profile, Private Space, "My web" - Your public profile can be browsed by all our members : your description (town, age, hair colour...), 1 photo and 1 video. - Your Private Space : only members who have your authorisation may see this space. You can write a few words to describe yourself, add up to 25 photos and 25 videos. - My web : You can personalise this page by adding internet content such as vidéos, photos, RSS feeds. To have access to the Private Space or "My Web" of another member, you have to ask for their autorisation > on their profile page click on "Private Space" or "My Web".
1/ Once you have logged in a small window opens : click on the link "Send a confirmation email": A confirmation email will be sent to your private email 2/ Then go to your private mailbox : in the confirmation mail please click on OK to confirm your email address... When you will have confirmed your email address, the small window inviting you to confirm your email address will no longer appear. There is no risk in confirming your email address, it simply garantees the authenticity of our members for genuine dating. You haven't received our confirmation email, please check if it isn't in your "undesired mails" or "junk emails".
An autorisation is needed to access a private space, members wishing to see your private space will send you an authorisation request. You will receive a mail in your private mail box only if you have chosen to receive the "profile alerts" by ticking off the alert box in your profile. You can organise your Autorisations by clicking on the Authorisations' link in the menu on the left of the page. On this page you will find :
Their requests to access your private space (pending, accepted, refused).
Your requests, when you have asked other members to have access to their private space (pending, accepted, refused).
If you no longer wish to receive the authorisation requests alerts, click on "Modify" in the menu on the left and select "Préferences". On the first page, deselect the Message alert checkbox : "I want to be warned by e-mail if any new messages arrive" and click on OK.
>> Are you sure to have entered your profile number and password correctly ? >> If so : clic on "Forgotten your password ?" on the home page of the site. Enter the email address of your profile and you will receive your login details.
>> You can modify your profile whenever you like. Log into your account, click on "Modify in the menu on the left of the page > choose the section you wish to modify. To modify your text, select "Private Space" Don't forget to click on OK once your have made your changes or they will not be taken into account.S
>> Log into your account, click on "Modify in the menu on the left and then on "Remove Profile". Your profile is no longer online and members cannot send you messages or see your profile any more. It has been desactivated. However, you may continue to navigate on the site and contact other members if you wish, to do so, you will just have to reactivate your profile > Menu > "Modify profile ", confirm the information concerning your profile (in your public profile) . Your profile will immediatly be online once again. After 150 days, and if you do not come back on the site, your profile will be completly removed from our data base as all the information that it contains.
>> Log into your account, click on "Modify" in the menu on the left and then on "Your photos". Follow the instructions to upload your photos. The first photo will appear in your Public Profile, it will have to be viewed by our moderation service before appearing online. The other 25 photos will be displayed in your Private Space and will be online immediatly, they must nonetheless respect the site's charter. Be careful : the photos must be in JPG format and should not exceed 500ko.
>> Log into your account, click on "Modify" in the menu on the left and then on "Your Videos". Follow the instructions to upload your videos. The first video will appear in your Public Profile, it will have to be viewed by our moderation service before appearing online. The other 25 videos will be displayed in your Private Space and will be online immediatly, they must nonetheless respect the site's charter.
>> The motivation index indicates how motivated a member is ! It is updated daily. You get more points by adding elements to your profile (photos, videos...). Be careful : you lose 10 points every day you do not come on Amoureux.com !
To offer the best possible service to our members, we are very careful with the quality of the photos and videos in the public profiles : * Maybe you have not followed the instructions: the photos must be in JPG format and should not exceed 500kom, your video must not exceed 5Mo or must not last more than 15 seconds. * You must be alone on the photo (no children, group photo, no celebrities, no advertising...) * Your photo may not be in accordance with our charter, any erotic, pornographic or illegal pictures will be removed immediatly.
>> If you are a member : log into your profile, select the profile you wish to write to (click on the photo or video) and then on the link "Send message" bellow the profile on the left. Be careful > if the message : "Message impossible, your profiles do not match" appears you cannot send any messages to this member because your profiles do not match, there may be two reasons for this : Either this person has chosen to receive messages from certain countries only and you do not live in one of these contries or You have chosen to communicate with people from certain countries only and this person lives in another country. >> You are not a member : you have top register first, all our dating services are totally free.
>> All your messages can be viewed in your Inbox. Log into your account, then click on "Inbox" in the menu on the left of the page. If you have received a "Message Alert" in your private email, o into your account and click on "Inbox".
>> You cannot send any messages to this member because your profiles do not match, there may be two reasons for this : Either this person has chosen to receive messages from certain countries only and you do not live in one of these countries or You have chosen to communicate with people from certain countries only and this person lives in another country.
>> This message appears when a profile and all its messages have been removed from the site after complaints from our members and/or a enquiry of our moderation service.
>> Log into your profile, click on "Dating" in the menu on the left and then select "Multicriteria Search". Enter the profile number in the corresponding field at the bottom of the search page and click on OK.
>> To do so, log into your account, click on "Modify" in the menu on the left and select "Preferences" > on the first page deselect the "Message alert" box and the click on OK.
If you no longer wish to be contacted by a member, you may block him/her. To block a member who as written to you > from your Inbox, tick the checkbox on the left of the message of the person you wish to block, then click on the small STOP icon bellow all the messages and click on OK to confirm this action . To Unblock a member: Click on "Blocked" in the menu on the left, then select the profile you wish to unblock by ticking the checkbox next to that profile and the click on the bin icon, then click on OK when you are asked if you want to delete this profile from your list of blocked profile.
For an easy and quick contact, Amoureux.com offers the possibility to tag your favourite profiles. To add a member to your Friends list, log into your profile, click on the profile you wish to add > Once on the profile page click on "Add this profile to your Friends". You will find your favourite profiles in the menu on the left of the page in "Your friends". If you want to know if your profile has been tagged by another member, click on "Friends of" and you will see the members who have added you to their friends list, you can consult their profile and write to them.
If you do not wish to have contacts worlwide, you can choose to communicate with certain countries only (up to 4, including yours). To select these countries, click on "Modify" in the menu on the left and then "Preferences". Click on OK on the first page, once on the second page, select "I would rather only receive messages from", select your 4 countries and click on OK at the bottom of the page. BE CAREFUL : you will then be able to communicate with people from those 4 contries ONLY (messages, chat...)
If you no longer wish to be contacted by a member, you can block him/her. To block a member who has written to you, select his/her message in your Inbox by ticking the check box next to the message, then clcik on the Stop icon at the bottom of the messages and confirm by clicking on OK.
>> To receive the ultra precise matching, you have to subscribe, you will be able to select more than 40 different criteria. To do so, log into your profile, click on "Modify" inthe menu and the on "Matching". This service is only available in the following countries : United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy.
>> You have to increase your "motivation index". You earn 50 points if you have one or more photos online, 150 points if you have a video and 300 for your registration.
> From the link : "Chat".(In the menu on the left, click on "Dating" and then "The Love Chat" or on the link "Chat" in the "Who's online" section on the home page) You will enter the chat room and see all the members you can invite. The small green icon next to the profile indicates that you can invite this person to chat > to send a invitation click on the green icon. If this person accepts your invitation, a chat window will open and you can start chatting together. If this person refuses your invitation, the chat window will not open. The orange/brown icon or the "unsmiling face" mean that you cannot invite this person, eiher he/she does not wish to be invited or your profiles do not match. > From a member's profile : When browsing a profile, you can invite a member to chat if the icon next to the name of this person is green, to do so, simply click on the green icon and a chat invitation will be sent. > From your own profile : When a members is browsing your profile you can hear a "whooshing", you can see this member's picture above the menu on the left If you drag the mouse over their photo you can either 'View' their profile or invite them to chat by clicking on "Chat".
If a member invites you to chat, a message will appear on the photo or picture (of the person inviting you) above the menu > "....wants to chat". Drag the mouse on the photo, chose to click on "Accept" (you accept to chat and the chat windows opens) or "Decline".
